Emily C. Shortall, also known professionally as Emily Goodman Shortall and Emily Shortall, is a current property-management executive and real estate broker with operating experience through Harvey Goodman Property Management and the Goodman family of companies.
Her background includes commercial and multifamily property operations, maintenance and inspection programs, vendor oversight, staffing, owner reporting, capital projects and the practical responsibilities of serving tenants and residents.
That operating background informs her expert work, but an expert engagement is a separate professional service. It does not include brokerage representation, leasing or management of the property involved in a matter.

Services may include early case evaluation, document and deposition review, expert reports, rebuttal analysis, deposition preparation and testimony. Engagements are considered nationwide for plaintiff or defense matters, subject to conflict clearance and scope fit.
Opinions remain within property-management operations. Legal conclusions and specialized engineering, medical, security-design or other technical opinions are reserved to the appropriate professionals.
